Another weekend begins with Wink, Blink, and Nod enduring themselves to a fine Montana establishment known as Beaver Creek Brewery. Somehow we managed not to go to jail. I am told that the only thing worse than a Mexican jail in
Tijuana is an eastern Montana lockup. Can't be too careful in
Wibaux. The beers are great, however one must exercise caution. The wheat beer (my favorite) has an alcohol content of about 7.6%.
Good things just don't seem possible in a brew pub whose motto is "Our beaver taste better!" But all is well. And Jim Divine (owner of Beaver Creek) has
established a great atmosphere in
Wibaux. Jim is not only a terrific brewer of beer, but a singer/
songwriter as well and recently had his friend and Nashville recording star Doug Stone come to Beaver Creek for a Saturday concert. Who would have ever thunk it!
